3MT Thesis
As part of the academic activities of IWSAI 2026, the “Three Minute Thesis (3MT)” competition will be held, an international initiative aimed at undergraduate and graduate students to present their research clearly, creatively, and accessibly. The challenge is to explain the content, relevance, and potential impact of the thesis in a maximum of three minutes, using language understandable to a multidisciplinary audience. Each participant must use only one supporting slide and may not use additional elements such as videos, props, or visible notes.
Participation Requirements
- Be an undergraduate or graduate student with a thesis in progress or recently completed.
- The research topic must be related to one of the IWSAI 2026 Thematic Areas.
- Oral presentation with a maximum duration of 3 minutes.
- Use of only one slide with no animations or additional material.
- The official language of the presentation will be Spanish.
Awards
Winners will receive special recognition during the conference, in addition to:
- 📜 Official certificate awarded by the Organizing Committee.
- 🎓 Specialized mentoring for publishing the article derived from the thesis.
- 🎁 Surprise prize for outstanding presentation.
