The 1^st International Workshop on Systems, Applications, Artificial Intelligence and Innovation (IWSAI) aims to bring together researchers and professionals in an interdisciplinary space for dialogue and reflection for the generation and projection of knowledge in technological systems, artificial intelligence, and innovation. The workshop promotes critical thinking and applied research, articulating diverse theoretical and methodological perspectives to address the challenges of contemporary society.

Within this framework, the IWSAI is organized by the Universidad Nacional de Piura, International Journal of Computational Innovations, Intelligent Systems and AI and the GI-IA Research Group of the Universidad Nacional de Tumbes, which are aligned with the following sub-objectives:

Boosting scientific knowledge

Promote the development and dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge related to technological systems, artificial intelligence, and innovation processes, using an interdisciplinary, critical, and forward-looking approach.

Reflecting on epistemology and ethics

Encourage epistemological and ethical reflection on the implications of artificial intelligence in shaping new socio-technical orders, considering its technological, social, cognitive, political, and cultural impacts.

Integrating science, industry, and society

Promote effective integration between academic research, industrial development, and public policy, fostering collaboration for innovative solutions that drive a sustainable and inclusive future.
