Cultural Exchange

As part of the comprehensive experience of IWSAI 2026, we warmly welcome all participants to a series of cultural exchange activities designed to foster academic networking and promote interaction between national and international attendees. These activities will offer opportunities to explore the historical, gastronomic, and artistic richness of the Piura region, complementing the scientific program with meaningful experiences that strengthen academic collaboration and showcase the cultural identity of northern Peru.

Scheduled Activities

A formal social event bringing together speakers, participants, and special guests in an academic networking atmosphere, accompanied by a showcase of Piura’s gastronomy.

Artistic performances featuring traditional music and dances from the region, highlighting local cultural identity and encouraging interaction between international attendees and the host community.

A guided tour of Piura’s most emblematic sites and surrounding areas, designed to explore the region’s history, culture, and tourist attractions while integrating knowledge and heritage.

An opportunity to enjoy the typical flavors of northern Peru and appreciate the richness of Piura’s folk art in a cultural experience open to all attendees.

Participation fees will be announced soon on the official conference website. In addition, free cultural activities will be available to all attendees, with the aim of fostering participation, intercultural exchange, and an enriching academic experience.
